Another Pink® & The Wall

The artifacts on this wall were created in the year 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Another Pink™ is inspired by history, art, and all things Pink Floyd. Elizabeth Turner, creator of this semi-fantasy art, envisioned a character that encapsulated a voice, a message, and a signal. Another Pink™ is an activist, educator, model, and performing artist. She portrays not only an image and certain visual, but also an idea and an attitude towards oppression and discrimination. She is not for violence, but is not afraid to act or defend when measures are called for. Her mission is not to lambast or oppress others, but to stand up for the oppressed and against those who use their position to bully others. She understands from experience what oppression and being bullied is like. She is done being silenced and is ready to speak, act. She will expose those who have been the oppressors. She will not stop nor turn down the volume for the sake of the geopolitical and religious climate in which she resides. Today, more than ever, it is important to listen to feel and understand, not necessarily to hear. Not only will she tell her side of the story, but she will remind others of a very important part of World History: The Berlin Wall. Therein, she will weave other influential persons, artists, and musicians who help us all to remember the atrocities of The Wall. WE ALL NEED TO REMEMBER.
